As a host, how can I check if a booking is confirmed?

You’ll get an email when you have a confirmed booking.

You can also go to your bookings or your calendar to see if the booking is there, or your message with the guest and check if the booking status is paid.

If a booking request is pending payment the guest still needs to accept your offer and enter payment information to confirm the booking. You'll get an email as soon as the guest accepts your offer and pays.
