How do I make dates available or blocked on my calendar?

To make dates available or blocked:

  1. Go to your My Listings
  2. Click Edit Listing on the listing you'd like to update
  3. Click Calendar
  4. Click a date to select it, or click and drag your cursor to select multiple dates
  5. Select Block, Make available or Allow multiple bookings

On your calendar, dates that are available to book are white. Unavailable dates are grey with an icon of the guest's profile photo or initial if they're automatically blocked. They’ll have a green line if a guest has booked successive days, and they'll simply be grey if you've manually blocked them. You can block an available date, make available a manually blocked date, or allow multiple bookings for an automatically blocked date. For example, if your space is booked for two hours in a day and you would like to make it available later that day, you would select allow multiple bookings.

Automatically blocked days and hours

The available days and hours you’ve set in your availability determine which days and hours are automatically blocked or available.

For example, if you do not let guests book on Mondays, then all Mondays will be blocked, and the remaining days of the week will be available.

Ready to book and paid bookings

Dates for ready to book requests will be blocked on your calendar until you accept or decline it or after 24 hours when the request to book expires—whichever comes first.

Dates with confirmed bookings will be automatically blocked on your calendar. Your listing's availability is blocked by the day and not by the hour. For example, if you have a two-hour confirmed booking, the entire day will automatically be blocked on your calendar. You can always update your calendar to allow multiple bookings on specific dates by following the instructions at the top of this article.

Pending requests and questions

Sometimes guests ask a question about booking for certain dates before they book. Dates will stay open so that multiple guests can send questions until you have a ready to book request.

If you decide to send an offer to a guest, those dates will remain open on your calendar either until the guest accepts the offer and books or declines the offer.
